Basher remains
At the center of Khafetz Khaim Way in the shouk, Basher continues to delight with cheeses. The counter that once presented an array of salads most varied, specialty pastas look very up to date but not as ready to eat.
My favorite bourekas place (http://jerusalemblog.blogspot.com/2006/12/bourekas.html ) has not compromised quality. They've added more "ice" (sort of slurpee) machines near the sakhlev urn. You'd think ice'd be for summer, leaving sakhlev for winter the way ice cream was for summer and krembow for winter. But today is so hot, and I wore so many layers, that passiflora (passionflower) ice was refreshing.
